If you're on the search for the best ways to cook carrots as a side dish, these Sweet Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots should definitely be on your list! And when it comes to side dishes, I'm all about easy. We all need easy sides in our recipe arsenal. Let's jump right in!

How to Make Glazed Carrots with Brown Sugar

    1. Peel carrots and cut into strips. (You could also just use baby carrots but they may need to cook a little longer.)

    2. Add oil to a large skillet and sauté carrots over medium high heat for 3-4 minutes.

    3. Add brown sugar, salt, and water over the carrots and cover. Lower the heat to low and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.

    4. Take the lid off and continue cooking until water evaporates.

    See how easy that is?

What To Serve with Glazed Carrots

Glazed carrots can be served with most any meal. Think roast beef, pork tenderloin, grilled chicken -- brown sugar glazed carrots can go with any simple meat dish or casserole.
