  • 2 lbs. carrots
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 5 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt


  1. Peel carrots and cut into strips.

  2. Add oil to the skillet and saute carrots for 3-4 minutes on medium high heat.

  3. Add sugar, salt, and water over carrots and cover. Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes (or until tender).

  4. Take the lid off and continue cooking until water evaporates.
